Anyone besides us in the Northeast depressed by more than a month of truly rotten weather?
We are in Maine until around the first of October...got here May 30...and are yet to have one entire day of sunshine. What we have had is rain, mist, fog, gloom and darn chilly weather.
Yes, we have loaded up the dogs and gone for backroads rides in the rain, gone shopping, etc. But, man, we long to be outside instead of holed up on the RV either reading or watching endless hours of TV (bless the satellite, incidentally).
Sorry about the rant...just had to vent. If we were home, I'd be *****in' about the heat and humidity. Sigh.
Cheers,

Yes, Yes, Yes, seemed like the whole month of June was a bust weather wise, especially last week. I talked to a number of people who felt depressed much like winter depression. Had things I wanted to do on the motorhome, but did not want to get wet doing it, so they did not get done except for installing a new flat screen TV.

Record breaking heat (98+ for 2 wks, hi 90s all of June). Little rain. 102 to 110 heat index every day.
Usually low-mid 90s in June with good afternoon showers to bring it down a bit.

It's been quite depressing out here in western WA; no rain for almost six weeks; the fire danger is getting high and the green grass along the roadsides has already turned brown. Scenery is more like August than early July and it's hot outside too! Send us some of your extra moisture, guess it has to go too far to get here though, so we'll just have to suffer until fall.

Here in Northern Ontario it has been the coolest June that I can remember. I think we should have a serious conversation with Al Gore concerning his theory. Some of the older residents were frightened today when the sun came out and they could not remember what it was.
