We'll be spending a few days in Moab later this month. The kids want to go horseback riding and we also want to explore Arches NP and do a partial day river trip. Can anyone recommend a good company that arranges these things? Any other suggestions of fun things to do?

We were more than happy with the Full Day COLORADO RIVER / FISHER TOWERS TRIP we took with Adrift Adventures. They also offer combo horseback/raft adventures.

We were out there in 2006 and went with the Moab Adventure Center. Did a combo package with a 1/2 day rafting trip on the Colorado and 1/2 day Hummer expedition on the slick rocks outside of town. Had a blast - very nice folks to work with, good equipment, flexible in setting up the package. They have a lot of other stuff too - not sure about the horses, check their site. BTW, picture in the sig is our campsite in Arches NP - awesome place!

Just left Moab and rented jeeps. It was absolutely awesome. Drove them ourselves. For a family of 4, the days rental was $150.00 plus $22.00 fuel and a car wash.
We also went to Brice and the horse back riding there was MUCH better than Moab. Had a blast.

we were there a year ago - Moab Adventure Center for a river raft and Rim tours for biking. A great place to visist.
