Somewhat off subject, but I was in Coberg yesterday and the employee parking lot was about 1/3 full. The folks at Cummins told me that the line was running, but very slowly.

Personally, I hope they stay with Cummins power, much better aftermakret service

We just received a US Bankruptcy court notice that Monoco has filed a petition to convert their chapter 11 to a chapter 7 petition.

Just when we were considering moving up to an Endeavor....
I think we'll re-think that one and look at a Tiffin or a Newmar.

You might as well look at the Winnebago line, one of the better-built motorhomes still in production,....from one of the better-run manufacturers.

Just like GM left it's 'bad' assets in the old corporation and is in Chapter 7, Monaco left some of its old assets in Monaco Inc. Monaco LLC is the new company, a part of Navistar. Go ahead and get your new Endeavor; it will have a robust company and parent behind it.

If it were me (and it will be next year) - I'd be looking a different company (unless you land an unthinkably fantastic deal on that Endeavor, in which case - go for it!) "Monaco LLC" has the same poor management that led to the bankruptcy of Monaco Coach. Some will disagree - we'll respectfully call it a difference in opinion. The backing of Navistar means little to me beyond being grateful I'll still be able to (hopefully) attain Monaco exclusive parts. If they conclude Monaco is still a bust under their ownership, they too will fold Monaco LLC at the blink of an eye and leave a whole new round of owners hanging.

I like my coach for the most part - though Monaco plumbed the fuel return/supply lines backwards at the factory and caused a whole lot of problems for me that they ultimately didn't stand behind. Just not a fan of the manufacturer as of late!

As a disclaimer, I'm a bit on the biased and bitter side as I too got the CH 7 "screw you - we're escaping our obligations" letter today, at the tune of several thousand dollars they owed me when they went under. I can't imagine how the owners of 09 coaches must feel, effectively being told the obligation to their coach is considered a "bad asset." Yes, some companies do this - most (that know where their bread and butter is) don't.

This must be what it's like to be a bitter ex-wife.

LLT we can hope you are wrong but I can not see one thing logically wrong with your post. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results........

For the sake of all of the loyal Monaco owners out there, I do hope I am wrong.
