MH on a rr4r chassis has been parked with air brake set for about 2 months. Today I attempted to drive but the brakes seemed to have locked in position. The air release sound was made and air brake light is off but the most I can do is to rock back and forward a few inches.
Don't want to cause damage so any advice is appreciated.

Sometimes the brake shoes stick. Gentle rocking forward and back will always release mine.

Bob... if you have your owners manual with you, it tells you how to unlock the parking brake in cases like you described.

Brake pads will rust to drums when sitting for a while. I just put in reverse and back very slow. Commom problen with air brakes. No harm done.

Does the RR4R actually have "air brakes" or are they air over hydralics? I know on my Monaco RR4R it's air over hydralics and the parking brake is a drum brake on the drive shaft. Additionally, on mine, when it make the air release sound it's when I set the parking brake not when I release it.

I'm with hohenwald48: I think you may have a drum brake on the drive shaft and disk brakes on the wheels. With the MH chocked and the parking brake off I'd beat on the brake drum and if that does not work, take a small chisel and force the pad away from the drum.

If you have air brakes you must build up air pressure to release brakes. When your air is depleted (as in a broken brake line) the brakes lock up when the air pressure gets too low.

This applies only to the rear brakes, not all are dual chamber spring loaded.

It doesn't matter if all are not spring loaded. If the pressure is too low some will lock up and it isn't going to move.

Only the rear brakes work that way in a normal air braked truck or MH. Service brakes are applied with air pressure only. Parking brakes are held away from the drums by air pressure. The rears have a double acting air setup. Service brakes are applied by air pressure, parking brakes are applied by springs that come into play when the pressure is released. Fronts are always applied by pressure, no springs invloved.
