On my 2001 HR Scepter kitchen slide, I can see the gear assembly for one of the track. That is the one under the kitchen sink. But the second one (under the sofa) is not located in a compartment underneath but it seems that it rather goes thru the front wheel well . How do you access this track if you need to work on a broken shear pin or bolt?

That is a good question and I have been thinking about the same thing on my curb side front slide. I will be looking for an answer

I have a 2000 Monaco and the access panel for the front slide is in the wheel well. There is a cover over it similar to the ones in the storage bays. I was able to crawl under the coach and sit up behind the front tire and get to it. It wa a lot of fun!! Good luck.

Behind the wheel I see a rectangular panel held in place with several Hex Heads bolts. Could that be the access panel you are talking about?

That's it. There is usually some foam weather striping around it. You might want to make sure that it's in good condition.
