i was surprised. it has no sway bars either. it handles better than i though it would. chirps around corners a little. some lean in the corners, but less than i expected. the hydro steer takes some getting used to, but its effortless. one finger sttering with 42's.
ive had it up to about 40mph on the street without issue. it has driven all over drummond island at speeds up to 70mph. unfortunately the hammers is too far. plenty of places to wheel in michigan though. it is a true trailer queen no matter what. it would be nice to be able to drive it from one trail to the next with out worry though. or take a short ride on a friday night. i got most of the parts to make it legal, just gotta get off my behind and do it. it will be on the trail in the next couple weeks for a shakedown run.

What some of the guys that run with my son do is make it look reasonable for the road and throws some old out of state plates on it. Most police will not hassle you because it has plates on, if you don't abuse the road us and they don't know what is street legal in the state of the plate. If they do get stopped they get a ticket for an unlicensed vehicle.

Nice toy. Unfortunately to be legal out here in Oreeegun, you would have to start with a new Jeep and maybe be able to take off the emblems, and doors.

i actually have a title and the vin. i can plate it easy. i would never drive something without insurance or plates, thats a big ticket .
you would be amazed what we can get away with here in michigan.
during dream cruise week i have literally seen funny cars roll down woodward. a friend of mine drives a chevy k30 with about 16 inches of lift on 44 inch swampers quite often. we are super lax unles you drive like and idiot.
