I did an oil and filter change before leaving on a 7-hour trip. It ran fine on the way, but as we returned home, it stopped after 15 minutes with one air conditioner running. After it cools off, (30 minutes or so) it will start right up, but again it will stop after 15 minutes. The oil level is fine. Just after it quits, it appears that there is no spark when it is in this "state". Fuel is getting to the generator. I'm thinking the oil sensor might be the issue, but if this is the case, why does it run for 15 minutes? '95 Allegro Bay with Onan 7000 (Gas) There are no electronic displays for the 500 hour genset. I guess I ruled out the fuel filter since the problem is extremely consistent. What do you see? If you have the manual look in the Troubleshooting Guide. If Not Down load one from the Onan website! Without that information we can only guess at what you have and unless we know what it is, it'll only be a guess.
