It's a joke or more likely a scam.

I say its more likely a scam since Cool Amphibious Manufacturers International, LLC, the makers of the TerraWind is located in South Carolina, and the Craigslist ad mentioned was placed in Colorado.

I say it's a joke, it says it's located in Crater Lake OR. It's 100's of feet from the rim to the water (closer to 1,000' almost straight down into the caldera with no roads. Besides, we'd have heard about it on the news and there's been nothing about it here.

I think this is a joke. I have seen the photos before long ago. I do not think anyone in their right mind would buy something in that price range without looking at it. And a person of normal intelligence would likely have a hard time selling something like this if it did not exist. Also the jail time they got would be quite lengthy after the sale. Simply not worth the penalty.

Someone with too much time on their hands making a funny post.

It takes 43 muscles to frown, 12 muscles to smile but only 2 muscles to pull the trigger on a Colt 1911. Well I am old, lazy and tired of smiling.

I just don't understand the need for a Motorhome that floats? It makes as much sense to me as someone making and selling a bucket with holes in it.
At least they could have had the windows open and some fishing poles stuck through them.

I'm betting it's someone who just wants to have his/her post marked for Best of Craig's List.

He should have shot a pic from the back. It actually opens up in the back like a boat with a rear deck and you can then fish from it. Wouldn't that be a hoot cruising a lake, trolling from your RV. Wow, no more hanging it over the edge. If I ever win the lottery think I'll buy one and then take it trolling at Flaming Gorge, UT.

PS--A few years ago there was song about a bucket that had a hole in it, made David Nelson a few bucks.

You all have a GREAT RVing Day.

I think the guy is actually selling a MH and thinks he's being clever using a photo of the amphibious MH with regards to the water damage. I sent an email to see what he is really selling.

And, I believe there is a Carter Lake near Fort Collins, CO
