Can anyone tell me what Hwy 126 between Florence OR and Eugene is like? I will be driving a 40’ MH.

It's a good 2 lane road and will be no problem. However I like highway 38 a little further south if it is convenient to where I am going as it has a few more passing lanes and a little better scenery. Either road is no problem for 40'

When my options are 20 or 126, I drop down to 126. It is straighter than 20 or 34, and seems to be in better repair.

Ditto on 38 vs 126 - BUT, lots of construction on 38 right now, so you might have delays. Check the Oregon roads website at http://www.tripcheck.com for the latest info.
For that matter, 126 is being repaved between east of Mapleton for about 20 miles, so you might have delays there as well.
As far as RV parks, not in Reedsport, but the Winchester Bay RV Resort is just 2 miles west, on the water, and one of the nicest you'll find.

That shows how good my memory is as I forgot to mention the construction. We were on 38 last week and ran into construction so we returned on 126 where we also ran into construction. Delays were about the same on each -- probably a total of 10 or 15 minutes. Winchester Bay RV Resort was fully booked midweek last week so we ended up at William Tugman State Park
