Seems I have developed a leak somewhere in the left rear of my fiver. The Carpet is wet (about 1-2" out from the wall and it doesn't seem to be above the bottom of the window) and I suspect inside the wall also is damp. It's in the extreme back left corner. I had it once before and thought it was leaking around the seal of the electric plug in or possibly the other plugs in the area. I replaced all the seals around them and recaulked. That stopped it for the year.
Now I notice damp carpet again.
Any ideas of where to look or other possibilities will be appreciated. Maybe some of you guys have had similar experiences.

Corner mouldings are always a good bet. I'm strongly considering pulling mine off, wrapping the corners with etrnabond tape and then replaceing the corner moulding over the eternabond.

Can you pressurize the inside of your RV using the exhaust side of a vacuum cleaner (from outside the RV, of course) and then use a soappy water solution to see if any bubbles appear in the area where you suspect the leak? That might pin down the problem area for you.

Don't ignore the running/clearance lights on the back. They're very prone to leaking in a heavy rain and easy to reseal. Remove the lens and caulk up the gap where the wire enters the fixture. 20 minutes of very well spent time.

Corner mouldings and clearance lights. I'm headed out there now to do both of those. If there's anything else, let me know.
Thanks

Good point as many leaks at the cornors are the result of a improper installed clearance light fixtures.

Also many lens has a weep slot/hole at the bottom of the lens. If the slot/hole is turned up water can run inside the fixture which follows the wire into the sidewall.

I saw a older TT the other day that someone used Eternabond down the front cornors. Sure hope it fixed his leak as it was ugly.

I also have a leak and I suspect it is the seal on the roof of the living room slide. I found loose screws that protruded through the factory seal tape. Put duct tape on for now, and will replace it soon with eternabond. We are in heavy rain now in Texas so I will wait until it dries out. We just had part of the living room slide floor replaced due to water damage, but did not find where the water was coming from until now. Good luck with yours.

I was planning on using the 2 inch wide tape over the corner joint and covering the tape with the corner trim. Is this what you saw and thought was ugly, or was it wider tape that covered a lot of the edge of the trailer? I hate to go paying that much for tape and get a job I'll be unhappy with.

What a coincidence....I have a 2007 River Canyon with the very same leak. Carpet gets wet in the left rear corner just to the rear of the slide. I took the window (directly above the wet area) out, no sign of any leak. I had Camping World do a pressure test (had the service on sale) and it appears to be around the slide seal. Hard to determine exactly where, the test was done with the slide closed (in) and the seal is not in view.
When you refer to "corner moulding" what are you refering to ? The seam where the rear cap is attached ?
We just got here (Alamogordo, NM) for the winter so rain leaks won't be a problem again till spring when we go home. I am going to try and get a better look at the slide seal this winter and see if I can find a fix. Keep us posted as to what you find.

I had a 2000 Eagle that I bought, that had the same problem. On mine I found that the bottom seal was bulging when the slide was closed. Couldn't tell it with the slide open. Mine only leaked when traveling.
The previous owner had eterabond taped the upper section of the slide.
Believe me, I caulked and puttied everything before I found the problem. Jim
