Also seems to radiate better. Neither have fans (fans are noisy). Be careful in below freezing weather. The space heater won't keep the pipes as warm as the furnace. Just used it last weekend camping. They are quiet, and not hot to the touch. I had to crank up the furnace in the fifth wheel just so it would kick on to heat all the storage compartments.
