Has anyone heard how Country Coach made out with the bankruptcy court?? It seemed to me that by the end of October the court was going to re-evaluate Country Coach's chances for survival and decide whether to liquidate the company or not. I was just wondering how they made out, but I can't find any info.

Yes it looks like the judge is giving them more time:

Here is another very interesting article about how CC finally sold their brand new Rhapsody model (reminds me of a Newell) which listed at $1.3 million, sold for $850,000. Look at the commission the salesman got:

Interesting article, univmd.

CC plan to emerge from bankruptcy doesn't depend on them selling coaches, according to their execs. Sounds like they don't have a grasp of reality yet.

How could such a good product wind up being managed by such morons?

"Our investment group that is interested in purchasing Country Coach and assisting us out of bankruptcy has offered to purchase motor coaches that are in our inventory and essentially consign them back to us for sale, which gives us cash to operate." -- When they have inverters who think that way, I really don't know who the bigger morons are? And do the investers really have the green cash? Lots claim to until it comes to tuning some over.

A couple of weeks ago I read Country Coach had not been able to sell one motorhome a week as they had planned. It is hard to pay 120 employees from the sale of one motorhome a week. Last I read CC had been shut down since Sept 11.

When is our fine EPA going to wake up to the fact that some of us will not buy a new diesel coach or pick up truck with their silly a$$ed "air quality improvements" installed. I really hate to see good companies go down but with the new "improved" engines coming out our 03 will need to last forever and if it doesn't we will get another older coach and referb it. Refined urine, you have got to be kidding me.

And why would a new engine design keep you from buying a new coach? That is the equivalent of throwing out the baby with the bath water...

Where did you read that "CC had been shut down since Sept. 11"? Yesterday, we received a CC e-mail update which, as would be expected, was very upbeat. It didn't mention any type of "shut down."
