Currently own a Sunnybrook 2708 SL. Am considering trading for a Keystone Laredo 31BHS, K-Z Spree 318BHS, Jayco Jay Flight G2 31BHDS, or Forest River Surveyor SV303. Any suggestions on which might be the best choice for quality & service? We have a 14 year old son who wants his privacy. That is why we have chosen these configurations. Any help would be appreciated. We once owned a Forest River popup and did not have good warranty luck. I am a little afraid to go with Forest River again, but love the Surveyor. The Laredo might be my top choice, but the air conditioning vents don't close and I get cold at night! HELP!

Well your coming from a Sunnybrook - so your expectations are going to be high. I think you'd be happier with the Jayco or KZ. They have superior customer service and standard 2 year warranties. I don't think you could go wrong with either the Spree or the Jayflight.

Now for the question of privacy...how much longer will your son be camping with you? and once he no longer wants to go with you will the new floor plan still be acceptable.....or will you be looking for something else....the reason I bring this up is we have been there done that...bought the tee shirt and got our photo taken.....

I agree,, I got mine a tent and was he ever happy with that.
He would use the dump and eat the rest of the time he was with his buddies or looking for new ones.

I own a Spree 318BHS. We think it is a great floorplan. We have three kids, and they really enjoy the extra room. I have had two small issues with mine. A leaky window over the sink that was fixed without too much of an issue with KZ/dealer. I also had a problem with the gas side of the water heater, but my dealer replaced the valve without an issue. I think the KZ is well built, and I am happy with KZ support...they have been very responsive on emails concerning the product.

I too considered a Jayco and a Flagstaff (Forest River line). The KZ won me over with warranty, customer service reputation, and the U-shaped dinette (wife had to have that feature). Jayco was a close second.

Jayco makes a fine camper and they stand by their product. We have owned three and enjoyed each one.

I PERSONALLY think that my Rockwood has the BEST kind of warranty you can get. It's the kind that you never have to use. There is really no way to predict what your results would be with any of those brands so about the best you can do is pick the one that you like the best. Good luck with your decision / Skip

Suggest you buy from a local dealer who can give you good after sale service.

May I ask why you aren't considering another Sunnybrook (floor plan?)? Based on what you are used to and the list you gave. Jayco and KZ.

In answer to some of your questions, the reason I am not considering a Sunnybrook is that it is so long. How long can a unit be and still be safe to tow? My husband is only used to towing 27 ft. right now.

Once our son stops going camping with us, I guess we will just have extra space to enjoy. The tent idea sounds wonderful, but we are members of Briarcliffe RV Resort at Myrtle Beach, SC and they don't allow tents. However, after having no slide outs for all these years, the extra room would be appreciated.

I notice that no one is leaning towards the Laredo, which I thought might be the best. Is there any reason why in particular? Has anyone had bad luck with Laredo?

I really appreciate all your advice! Keep the answers coming! HA!
