Just got back from cleaning my trailer. It was basically used for storage for the last year so the shower was full of stuff. When I cleaned it out I noticed it had yellowed from the skylight. Is there anyway to fix this? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

put a shade over the skylight but it's a little late for that. the plastic tends to yellow with age and sun makes it worse. i don't think there is any way to restore it, but would like to hear if there was.

Another reason to cover it.
You might try Soft Scrub with bleach or CLR and a brush or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

I took a styrofoam sheet and covered the skylight. I tried Mr. Clean and what I think was a cheap imitation of a Magic Eraser. No Luck. I'll try CLR but I have a sneaky suspicion I will just have to live with it.
Thank you

There was a thread a couple days ago about yellowing plastic trim on the exterior door window and a few folks suggested using a product called Awesome. I think it's at like Wal Mart, Dollar Stores, Menards, etc. Might want to give that a try.

Try that CLR stuff for diswashers, there was a instance orange juice product a few years ago that used to work on dishwashers, can't of the name.

I have had good results with a spray paint for plastics called "Fusion". Bought it at either Home Depot or Wal Mart, can't remember which. I cleaned the surface, put on a mask and sprayed away. Everything turned out white and bright. I have not had a problem with the paint peeling. I did this over a year ago and have used the bathroom a lot since painting everything. Hope this helps !

ReferDog - it was Tang. Fill the dishwasher soap holder with Tang and run it through a cycle to clean with white interior of stains.
I can think of nothing that will remove the yellow from sun stained white plastic. However, I was able to get white plastic bathroom vent covers much brighter by wiping them with bleach, letting it sit for 2 minutes and rinsing with soap and water.
