I bought an older trailer and thought about a set of Goodride tires for it. Anyone use them? The tire dealer had them for 79. a tire mounted and balanced. He also carried Maxxis for 89. a tire size 225/75/15.

Never heard of Goodride tires, but I have Maxxis tires on my boat trailer. Very good tire IMHO.

I've never heard of the brand but check the country of origin on the side wall. I'm pretty particular about what tires I run and Maxxis is one of VERY FEW that I'll accept. Good luck / skip

I got the Goodride's online for 60 a piece. I only have put about 1000-1200 miles on them with no problem. A lot of people dont like the chinese tires, these are chinese. I keep them aired up, cover them, stay under 65 and only time will tell will tell how they hold up. So far so good. But for 10 bucks a tire, I might go with the brand name. They do have a good rep.

I did a google search and they are made by the company that had the recall for not putting in the gum strip to hold the steel belts in place. Where are Maxxis tires made?

It looks like Maxxis will be put on. Does $89. a tire 225/75/15 mounted and balanced sound like a good price?

That sounds like an awesome price. I was quoted $100 each. I have Maxxis 8008 on mine now, Maxxis will go back on it when they need to be replaced.
