I have a 2004 Coachman CrossCountry SE and would like to install a ScanGauge II, however, since it has a rear diesel I do not know where the OBD connector is. Has anyone connect a ScanGauge to a rear engine Freightliner?

In general diesels don't have a OBD connector and use a CAN bus connector instead.

A lot of folks with diesels use a product that I can't remember the name of but I bet someone else will post it.

EDIT. I remembered - SILVERLEAF ELECTRONICS

You will have any where up to 3 connection ports. One in the engine compartment, One under the dash some place and one in the pannel to the left of the drivers seat. It is usually a Round gray fitting. Push in and twist to remove cap. About 1" in dia.

SilverLeaf has several different units. I purchased the VMSpc at an FMCA show some years ago when they had a show special. Now have an Acer Netbook mounted on the dash to monitor the output.

Nope, never been to ND with the MH, think it was at the Bend OR one in about 2003 or 2004.
