YC-1 I meant the roof air. I am hooked up shoreline but I forgot whether what I have is a 30 or 50. Pigtail? It is flatbacked with the 3 prongs. Doug

If there is a GFCI, it could be anywhere. Inside, outside, near the refer, or even on the far side of the rig.

You simple plug them into your receptacles to see if they are wired correctly and they will give you some insight as to what the problem is siuch as open phase conductor, neutral or ground. About $5 at local hardware store.
Good suggestion! But I would recommend spending a couple dollars more, and getting one with a GFCI test button on the side of it. It does everything that the three light tester does, plus tests GFCIs. This is useful for testing the outlets that are downstream of the GFCI to see if they are really protected, as there may be some wiring errors or fault conditions which might prevent a fault at a downstream outlet from tripping the GFCI. It can also happen that the test button on a GFCI can fail -- it will still trip on a fault, but the test button doesn't make it trip. The trip button on the tester can help isolate this, as well.

Some newer models have the red LED indicating they have power and are operating. Older ones did not have indicators. Just the colored buttons.

Thanks for the clarification, that matches with what I've seen. Your prior post seemed to be saying the opposite -- maybe I was reading too much into it?
