Here's a guess. In all forums except this one, signatures will show on at most one post per page. That will usually be the first post, but you could tell the system not to display your signature in a post.
Several times, we have had members make a post and then wonder what they had done wrong to prevent their signature from showing. When, if fact, if they had scrolled up the page, they would have found their signature on an earlier post.
