Only thing i have found is Workamper news lets you praise your employer which i think is very unfair.I personally had an experience with a bad employer and cannot warn others of it.I have even considered canceling my subscription because they are one sided.

They did this because no one would post anything. I contacted them sometime back and it was not worth the their time to keep up a part of the site that remained empty. Contact them and see if they will restart that part of the site. Hope this helps!

I know, welcome to the internet. The internet is predominantly about being one sided. You have to dig deep in order to find truths, has been my experience.

Accountability is a foreign concept to many people these days.

You can post your experiences on Workamper Experiences on the WK forum, good or bad just as long as it's your experience but you have to have a subscription to do so. You can only see that part of the forum if you are a subscriber.

Several years ago, there was a website that was dedicated to those of us who worked either as volunteers or for pay. It was ostensibly solely for that purpose, although there was also a great deal of chat that went on among the participants. Still, there was a lot of info passed back and forth and it was informative. The only problem was that too few people participated and it went belly-up after a little more than a year.

Workamper did have a section where you could rate an employer and tell of your experience. It was interesting as some had 10 replys, 9 good and one bad...you knew the one bad was just a complainer. But some had almost every comment as a bad experience....changing hours, demands that were never agreed on, verbal abuse and it went on and on. It's the campground owners who complained that there were too many people who gave false reports about their campground, so to not offend the owners, they stopped allowing comments from workers but employers can sure write a bad comment on you even if you did nothing wrong. You can go to rvparkreviews.com and write a comment on how management treats people, how conditions are and rate the campground. Lots of people look at that and think twice.

Workamper.com STILL allows employers to be rated, BUT you need to be a subscriber to post and read the posts!
They are NOT going to supply that information for free!
