I think this product is....well dangerous. However, the comments are fantastic....

Lapdesk for car reviews...

This awesome bit of kit changed my life. The extra hours of work I could get in whilst driving on the freeway has made me so much more productive. In fact I directly attribute this to my improved bonuses and recent promotion! If you want to get ahead, get one of these.

There is one problem though. In several accidents that I have had whilst using this, the airbag causes the laptop screen to slam shut. I've suffered several broken fingers because of this. I have started to look around for airbag finger protection but have not yet found any...

The vendor has it covered in their description: "For safety reasons, never use this product while driving." That should be stating the obvious, but theses days...

Watch. Some bonehead will be pulling out of a McDonalds drive-through, using his new laptop desk, run into a curb, spill his 150 degree coffee, sue the manufacture of the desk and McDonalds for the hot coffee and make out like a bandit along with his lawyers.

I think the folks who wrote the comments understood that. Just read the "reviews" of the item. They are fantastic.

Indeed, the comments are fantastic. Amazon reviews have gotten really entertaining lately. The first couple of reviews have comments like:

"We also discovered that if you place a pillow on top of it and turn on the cruise control you can catch quick naps on the interstate.... Also, i am now dating a midget and she fits nicely on the steering wheel desk which allows us to experiment sexually while driving. This thing is like WD-40 or duct tape, it is a million and one uses! ... I got one for my 90yr old mother. She is an avid crossword puzzle fan and now she can work on them while she is driving back and forth from bingo at the senior center. ... It allows me to prop my sheet music against the wheel, allowing me to play the guitar with both hands while driving."

There was a later comment that it DIDN'T work so well with music and that it got in the way of the reviewer's tuba valves.....LOL!

One should also look up the reviews for the Tuscan milk. Same sort of hilarity.

"Believe it or not, I'm typing this review on my laptop steering wheel desk! As a school bus driver I was never be able to check my email and update facebook while at work. Now I am networking more than ever! I am recommending this product to the school board later this month. "

We have a bus driver on this forum

What is the "use rated speed limit" when used in a school bus? Is there a wpm and mph rating?

Remember, I would bet NONE of the comments for that product are real. It is just another one of those "internet sensations" like the Tuscan milk or the "The Mountain Men's Three Wolf Moon Short Sleeve Tee":
Quote:

When my order arrived, I was not disappointed. As the UPS truck was driving down the street with my delivery, my female neighbors began opening their doors and stepping outside. I suspect the Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt contains powerful lupine pheromones.

The shirt is made up of soft cotton. I was grateful to see this as it flexed as my muscles grew after donning this garment.

The Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt gave me a +10 resistance to energy attacks, +8 Strength, and added 30 feet to my normal leap. I cannot list the specific effects involving the opposite sex as I am still discovering these. And they are many.

Since owning the Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt, I have successfully solved 7 crimes in my city, including 4 cold case murders. The local police force is currently wishing to retain my services.

I do have one complaint, and that's that I must stay indoors on windy days. Last fall we had a windy day and I received notice that hundreds of women were suddenly pregnant, carrying my offspring, up to 12 miles away.
