Loppy and I had a rough night. I think I slept around an hour or so but I am not completely sure. He was disoriented, grumpy and of course in pain.... even after the pain medication the ER administered. My poor Loppy!

Also the dental specialist vet I need to see will not be open until noon today. I've consulted with my regular vet (not the new one since they have never seen Loppy) and she agrees that he needs to be taken care of by the clinic that has the proper x-ray capabilities. She has high praise for the clinic the ER vet recommended. So I will put my trust in them.

I am in a holding pattern with the specialist so I am going to our vet's office to pick up more antibiotic in a few minutes.

That's all I know for now. THANK YOU for your kind words, prayers and everything. I am very worried but trying to do the best I can for him.

Oh, gee, did they mention the possibility of tooth abcess? That can be nasty and involve bone. Soooo painful but dogs and cats don't complain like we do so it goes on longer. Poor baby! Will be waiting for updates and hoping for the best.
