Event: 2011 Northeast RV.Net Spring Rally
Dates: Friday May 20th to Sunday May 22nd, 2011

  • Location: Indian Hollow Campground
  • Facebook 2011 RV.Net Northeast Rally Group Event Post
  • RV.Net Northeast Rally History Page
  • 2011 RV.Net Northeast Spring Rally Apparel Website
  • jmanatee/Jon's Link to Panoramic View of Camping Area at the 2009 Spring Rally

    Rally Committee:

    steved28 - Steve
    GerryB54 - Gerry

  • Come join us at the Northeast Spring 2011 Rally at Indian Hollow Campground on May 20th through May 22nd 2011 (the weekend before Memorial Day weekend).

  • We (steved28 & GerryB54) have already paid ($350) for the entire north & south loop camping areas for the weekend, so individual reservations are not required. The camping locations are first come, first serve and there are no actual assigned 'sites'. We'll have to do some math, but we don't anticipate it will cost over $15-$20 per night per RV based on around 10 - 12 rigs.

  • This is a mainly dry camping location. "Mainly" because there is limited electricity, potable water, rest rooms and showers. There is a place to dump grey water, and we will most likely have macerators on site for black tanks too.

  • We do expect RVers with generators might have a need to run them (myself included), just plan on running them on a limited "as needed" basis to top off your coach batteries during the day, and have consideration for others around you. This is a very peaceful, quiet setting so let's try to maintain it.

  • For those traveling longer distances who would like to arrive early or stay later, there is a full service campground nearby (7 miles), Windy Acres Campground - Westhampton MA to accommodate you. GerryB54 plans on staying at this campground Thursday and Sunday night.

    Directions to Indian Hollow

The best way (by far) for any RV is to approach Chesterfield center from the East and North. This can be done by taking I-91 North from the Mass Pike to either Exit 18 or 19. Either one will take you to Route 9 West, Exit 19 may be a bit more direct. From this point simply stay on Route 9 West until you reach Route 143 (Chesterfield Road). This turns into Main St. when you enter Chesterfield. At the center of Chesterfield, turn left on to South St. Follow South St. for several miles, Indian Hollow Road will be on the Right. There is a sign for the campground at the entrance to this street, albeit small.

    No hook ups ???

*Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - "WOW, What a ride!"

Mike, you will be able to refill your water tank, but to be honest, I never even went into the shower/rest room facilities when we were there in 2009 for the spring rally...maybe Steved28 or someone else who knows can chime in?

Yes, they have both. As well as toilets. And 1 electrical outlet just in case you need to charge up from the grid.
