Yeah that one threw me also. I think that it is one and the same part.
I would bet that most cg's that have more need for this are Thousand Trails facilities. AND others might be doing the same, but I see it as a way to charge $3/ night just because you are offered 50 Amp service wether you need it or not.
Probably referring to a 30 male and 50 female to cover pedestal with only 30 amp outlet and a 50 amp rig. 50 to 30 would be 50 male to 30 female.

I was just talking about that today. I bought one about 20 years ago thinking I was going to need it some day. that day has never showed up yet. in fact I'm not sure where the darn thing is right now.

Just bought a 50 to 30. We will be staying at one of the state parks on the So Oregon coast and the only spots left are 50 amp. Was only 14 bucks at walmart.

We have had to buy an adapter for our 30 amp RV to plug into a 50 amp receptacle. First time we have ever run into that and it was two parks in a row. First one was in Rockport, TX. It was a regular RV campground. The next one was actually a mobile home park that had sites for RVs. So now we have one to add to our collection of adapters. You can never have too many adapters. And it's always good to have at least TWO of the 30 amp-to-20 amp adapter for when the park power pole melts your adapter (like mine did... new site with backup adapter). They aren't all that expensive to have on hand... unless you have to drive several miles to get to the nearest, overpriced store to buy one because you absolutely have to have it RIGHT NOW.

Hi, I bought an adapter for my 30 amp cord to a 50 amp receptacle and so far I only used it once, but don't worry if you don't have one because the campground store has them for about $50.00 each.

We use our 50 to 30 adapter quite often. Some of the newer parks and renovated ones only have 50 amp receptacles. A few days ago I had to use it because a meter was in the way of connecting the 30-amp plug without putting a bad bend in the cord at the plug.

Staying at an RV park/campground with hookups is so rare for us, I don't think I will worry about it.
The three we have stayed in here in Montana had 20/30/50 amp service, so it wasn't a problem.
The Tioga is 30 amp.

I use it whenever I stay at a park that is fully packed, seems everybody is on the 30A circuit. Seen it "brown out" at times, while we are fine on the 50A. Have surge/low voltage protection also.
