Ordered my new and was built in Feb of 99,. has 85565 on right now. Just upgraded to a 5er over 10500 lbs so will be adding an exhaust brake, any body got insight on what to use? So far all i have done is put in new ball joints at 45,000 and Ford put in a new CPS on a recall.

I just bumped into a fella online in a superduty diesel forum who only has 25K on his 2000, and he's kept it garaged. He's gotta be setting a record for low usage. On the other end of the spectrum, I read an article about an RV hauler who has logged 1.2 million miles on his 2001 7.3L. 1,200,000 miles.

128,000 miles and counting on a 2003 F250. Have pulled a 13,000 lb 5th wheel for about 25,000 of it. No major problems so far.

I had two 7.3 for work trucks and the 97 I had for 378k and the 02 went for 345k. They loved ball joints and went through a couple tranys, nothing that would leave you walking. I had to do the regular maintenance myself but I made sure it was done right because these trucks had to get me to the middle of nowhere Montana and back.
