Someone sent me pictures of a garbage truck converted to an RV I found interesting so I thought I would share them with the folks on the forum. I've never posted pictures before so I hope I did the attachment correct. Bob.

Well the pix didn't come through, sorry. I'll try to figure out what I did wrong.

Don't see any attachment, Bob.

I think you have to 'park' the photos at a photo hosting site like Photobucket, then insert the URL to the photos using the 'Image' link that's in the 'Advanced' posting section.

If it looks anything like the one below, that's not a "garbage truck", it's a very expensive Unicat custom RV.

Dutch, now that's the one. But on the email that was sent to me it gave a very complete explaination of how this guy converted a garbage truck to this RV. Guess you can't believe everything you read. Bob.

That's a smaller image of the same rig picture posted farther downthread- The link posted with it is to the Snopes Fact-Checking site.
I get a lot of E-mails like that from my mother-in-law. She sent me this one, too...
I check 'em all with Snopes!

I copied the image URL at the Snopes site and, using the "advanced posting" option, clicked the "image" icon and pasted the URL in...

Yep, the bogus "garbage truck RV" story has been making the rounds for 5 or 6 years now. The EX63 model shown in the "garbage truck" email is a little different from the EX70 model I posted, but not a lot. Either one costs a lot more than my wallet will cover!
