I have heard of people using Dawn Dish-washing detergent for cleaning dirt and oil from diesel rear radiators, but there is a new Dawn product called "Dawn Power Clean". Manufacturer says it is equivalent to soaking overnight, but works in 5 minutes - Has anyone tried this product?

Haven't tried it, but knowing that Dawn itself is a very good reliable product, I'd certainly give it a try.

Wouldn't worry about it. There's no telling what some consumers will use a product for so I would suspect it's been tested for pretty much everything up to human consumption. If it's safe to use in the kitchen sink without protective clothing or positive ventilation should be safe for your rig. Check the directions for potential precautions just to be sure.

You wouldn't worry about it???
" Avoid use on: appliance lettering, scratched 'non-stick' surfaces, oven hoods, dishwasher doors, varnished wood, and copper. Painted items, particularly metal, vary in quality. If in doubt, test on a small hidden area."
The quote is from their web page. I read just enough that I would be concerned.

I'd stick with the tried and true Simple Green who makes a cleaner that IS aluminum friendly - Extreme Simple Green Motorsports Cleaner & Degreaser. Just because something is friendly in the kitchen sink, doesn't mean it will be friendly to you motorhome's radiator!!!
