LOL... can say I learned this the wet way

had a good laugh at some of those too...

For some reason this is a hard one for me to learn. I have been soaked three times. Senior moments I guess.

At least make sure its empty first. The beer bottle, not the toilet.

Both should be empty....

I consider an RV to be an unnecessary expenditure. I feel that unnecessary expenditures should be purchased with cash. I have purchased all RVs with cash and that means over a half dozen. Some cost as little as $500. You can camp in a $500 RV and have just as much fun as in a $500,000 RV.

I believe that it is an individual choice, but cash is a good suggestion.

Cash talks and may (repeat may) "negotiate" a lower price; however, the dealer often gets a fee from the financing institution and may actually "deal" more if you finance through him ... the big consideration for us was the fact that we can deduct the interest paid on our "second home" on our income taxes. That leaves other assets to - hopefully - appreciate in value *rather than liquidate to fund the RV purchase* ... as our TT, itself, depreciates.
