I find it unacceptable that a Moderator should have such little concern for the members here, that they close a most infomative topic, that was running very smoothly,without arguing or flaming.
All I saw was an attempt to inform the folks here about a topic that otherwise, they would have no knowledge of what was going on.
Perhaps a better move than closing it would have been to move it to ATC.

So what thread are you complaining about? Most moderators usually have a good reason for closing a thread. Some ( the better ones) even will post why they are doing it.

The thread being referred to was political. Several of the most inflammatory posts were deleted and then it was closed.
The request by the OP that it be closed was insightful on his part, but the final decision was mine.
