Hi - if this is a chassis/frame issue as stated, it is not a'B' issue, but rather the chassis manufacturer (Ford/Chevy/MB/etc). Go to a local dealer of whomever makes the CHASSIS and let them take a look. Hinges are the converter's problem, but framerails, suspension, brakelines, etc - that's the Ford/Chevy problem! That's one of the biggest benefits of a 'B' - it's OME and easy to get mechanical work done, no RV dealer needed! ST

Since the OP is from southern FL, I would suspect sea salt as the culprit. I would also expect lots of electrical connection and grounding connection problems in the future.
Passivisation with proven methods... namely.. sacrificial zinc.
