Sometimes when looking at old photos from past trips and see the coach(s) we had back then I sorta feel the nostalgia of the good, old times. Then I think of the headaches we had with the lack of power and the 'sometimes' chassis air in the first coach and all that goes away. Then the second one that was probably our favorite of the three and remember the PIA of keeping the filon finish clean and even partly shiny and again that nostalgia again goes away. The present coach has everything we wanted and needed, room, power, full paint and again that feeling goes away when I figure how much it depreciated the first year we had it. I guess everything is relative

Didn't feel too bad about the TT going but I shed a tear when my beautiful F150 pulled away from the driveway the last time.

Lost my Basenji and my truck the same year I still grieve.

I miss my old unit too, but I sure like the way the extra six gallons of hot water feel!

My experience was just the opposite. Our children are grown and gone so it's just me and the wife. We lived in our previous TT (a 2007 29-ft Dutchmen) on our rural property in WV for over two years while building our own house. Told the wife we were full-timers who just never went anywhere. But after that experience, we never looked at the rig the same way. It was no longer that fun getaway toy, it was that d***ed aluminum box we lived in for so long. Traded it in on a 2010 Jayco and never looked back.

I had serious sellers remorse when we sold our Class C. New owners told me I could come visit and take it out for a weekend anytime. They borrowed the Class C a few times then ended up buying it. We absolutely love our Class A tho.

I have shed a few tears at every trade! My DH rolls his eyes and pats my back, murmuring "It's okay." Then the first trip out in the new one, I am good to go! I have my favorites but with each trade we got something better.
Happy Memories have been made in each one.

I would venture to say that after that 1st wake up to cheezy scrambled egg / bacon breakfast sizzling outside and under the awning, and hooking a native brook trout in the nearby stream - the first chapter in the new memory book will have been written.

Enjoy all the nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs you're about to write in that new TT.

We're on our 3rd camper. The first 2 we had when the kids were young and had lots of good times and memories in both. We have a pic of both campers hanging on the wall of our current camper and whenever I look at them I smile because of all the happy memories that come back.

I am the same way - when we sold our two previous 2 TTs, I said that I was glad each time that they (the rigs) were going to good families! Yes, we're personifying an inanimate object, but our Ts gave us great times and took care of us well, so I hope the same fr them.

See ya at the crazy house!

We felt the same way when we sold our pop up last year. It was just nice to know that something that served us so well and that we took care of would continue to be used as it was intended.

But we weren't about to miss it. We had already been on a couple trips in the new TT, and were not looking back.
