I cant wait we have been planing this trip for sometime. I have had the truck seviced, new tires, about 3K in warranty work at fords exspence and on the TT new brakes, new drums, bearings, seals and finally a new AC. I know its winter but I hope I need it. we are going half way the first day and staying at point south KOA and then onto silver spings. we (DW and I) and some of our friends are going at the same time they have their own RV so we want be crowded. Our kids 20-17 are not going so it will be our first long trip in 20 years without our boys but Im sure we will adjust after a few days.Just sitting daydreaming about the 17th. will and shannon

We are leaving on the 17th also heading to Mickey World. We will drive straight through from NY. I will be sharing the driving with my son who, along with his wife and 3 children, will be accompanying my DW and myself.

Hoping for some nice warm weather.

Have a safe trip. Currently our weather is great, always subject to change. While staying at the KOA chack out the other campground there, I think you'll like it better and will want to stay there next time.

As a back east guy I know your joy. Working in Wash. DC in the early '70s I drove down to FL three times one brutal winter. Not long after I came west.

From one Tar Heel to another, I suggest you consider Wilderness RV Park in Silver Springs. This is our second season here and we like it a lot. The park is on the east side of Silver Springs on Highway 40. They accept Passport America and have good monthly rates if you're staying that long. PM me if you want more info.
