Curious if anybody has had both pin boxes and which one worked best? Want to get one to eliminate some mild chucking.

I have had both and I sure like the MoreRyde best.

Had Mor-ryde on my DRV and 5th Airborne on my current Escalade. Would get Mor-ryde if given a choice. I think the Mor-ryde works better and also doesn't need to be aired up as it loses air.

Our last fiver we had a Trail Air pin and our new one has a Mor/Ryde. I know its not what you are asking but I liked the Trail Air better. With the Trail Air we did get some chucking, but not bad. With the Mor/Ryde we would get pounding of the hitch and the pin. After only a few months I ordered a new air hitch. What I have now is a bit pricey but a great combination. We travel 6 months a year an average about 15,000 miles a year. I wanted something that was a good ride and would protect our trailer.
If I had to do it over I would have got a good air pin and saved the cost of the air hitch.

Tried both and liked neither alone, either one alone will help, but, neither worked to my satisfaction. Now we have both in one unit; Tri Glide TrailAir. Tri Glide acts like the Mor/Ryde while the TrailAir part is similar to the 5th AirBorne. Best of both in one pin box. A bit pricey and does require some periodic maintenance (9 zerk fittings get a "squirt" every 1,000 miles), but, to me, well worth the price. No chucking and the 5ver "floats" on the pin box.
Just one more option to consider...
My 2 cents, your mileage may vary...

Well I have the Moryde and the TrailerSaver air hitch, absolutly a great combo. trailer floats behind me like it was riding on a pillow and great ride in my 1 ton dodge dually and you all know dodges arne't know for their smoothness especially in the 1 ton series.

I have MorRyde. Last time I was at MorRyde getting IS & disc brakes installed on my new fiver, a guy came in with a new Cameo & was getting IS & discs installed like me. He had a 3 week old fiver (about same age as mine) & he had Fifth Airborne on his pin box. After seeing the MorRyde & having the back of the Fifth Airborne tear up the side of his pickup when bacing it, he had MorRyde replace his Fifth Airborne with the MorRyde. I did not talk to him afterwards so I don't now if he was happier with MorRyde. I have put the MorRyde on my last two fivers & am very happy with the ride.

slightly different kingpin, we have the trail air tri-glide. My wife concurs, our truck rides better (yes better) with the 5th wheel hitched up than without.
Now the drawback is the maintenance. Airing up the airspring and 9 grease fittings that need greased every 1000 miles...
