I have the fifth airbourn on my 5er but never used the morryde The fifth does a good job for me but my problem was a air leak that I could not find. It lost 10 pounds per day. I called Reese about the problem and they sent me a new air bag that I need to install but am out of comission due to a broken finger and won't know if that solved the problem. I think any air pin box is going to have some kind of maintainance.

I have a Mor/Ryde and it does a great job. Much better than original pin box. I have never had a TrailAir so I can't compare. If I was going to change I would look at a TriGlide

a MorRyde pin box is designed to help reduce the force of front/back (chucking) motions and the equal side to side type motions of a camper from being passed onto the tow vehicle .... the main function of a 5th Airborne hitch is to help reduce up/down pounding motion from the camper from being passed onto the tow vehicle .... it does have a shock absorber which does help a bit with front/back chucking .... what that means is they are designed to do different jobs .... depending on the design of the camper, one hitch could be much more useful than the other .... for example, for a nose heavy 5er, the 5th Airborne would most likely be the best choice
