Wondering what you all use to clean the lcd tv and monitors, as well as things like camera lens, scanner glass, etc?

I've never had much luck with the 'wipes' and much prefer the solution and cloth to be separate. The only thing the big box electronics stores seem to carry anymore are the wipes so I'll have to order something from Amazon or elsewhere.

I'll try and check the owners manuals of this stuff around here for guidance as well, but was wondering if there is some generally safe options for use on these type of devices?

Thanks

Got mine at Walmart.
It's called Phillip's Screen Cleaning Gel for plasma and LCD.
A spray bottle with a small soft cloth.
Works great.

I use two micro-fiber cloths.
Damp one to remove dust etc. and then a final wipe with clean dry one.

TV, monitor, camera, phone etc. haven't had any problem YET

I use a great product called IClean , it is made for just what you are describing . You can get it online from a company called The Advantage.

Just plain water on a soft cloth .. I can't believe you would need anything else nor is anything else recommended. Tell the grand kinds to keep there hands off the screen! ;-)
It should only need dusting it your not touching it!

My post's are my opinion The advice, comments etc are free and worth what you paid

I use a product called lKlear. One has an alcohol base and the other is basically a dry lint free cloth. Not sure what else is in it but it really works good but is also a little pricey. Each is in a sealed package.

100% clear denatured alcohol cut 50-50 with distilled water
I keep a little squeeze bottle ready,
dust with clean cloth wipe with another clean cloth dampen with this mix

No scented rubbing alcohol, no window / glass cleaners
no chemicals besides distilled water and denatured alcohol

used to be available at the drug store, I bought mine at home depot in a pint/16oz can

Options, always have options, and the journey goes much smoother
