We are wanting to see San Francisco. We have a little blind dog that would be staying in our motorhome some, while we see areas that she could not go. Any suggestion will be helpful.

as far as i know, there are no parks in sf itself, however, look up under pacifica, ca. we stayed in a fantastic place there right overlooking the ocean and rented a car from enterprise which was just around the corner. i cant remember the name. sorry. try woodalls.com.

San Leandro has a decent Mobil home park.campground. Petaluma has the KOA. There is a cg at Candlestick park but it is not in the best area. Check out www.rvparkreviews. I have stayed in one in Redwood City just south of SF that was not bad....mostly monthlies and older but it worked for us.

In the hills above Oakland there is Anthony Chabot County Park and it has a nice campground...but it is a drive to the city.

San Francisco RV resort. Google the ready camp go web site could be a good deal for you. This park is nice safe and keeps you from crossing a busy bridge every day to get into the city. Plus they can help plan your time in the city. Nice local bakery across the street.

I stay in Novato at a small but convenient rv park, just north of SF. Drive about 15 min to the ferry and then about 30 min to the city.
