If you can find a Pullrite superglide for $500, that is definately the way to go. You can order the fittings to adapt to your specific truck at any number of places.

Don't let anyone tell you that you will be OK without a slider on a SB truck, without looking into it yourself. Just because they don't use theirs doesn't mean you won't need one. Your situation, including truck, trailer, and usage, may be totally different than theirs. Buying a Companion for a SB truck, without knowing all of the factors is a risk. If I would have bought one, I would be out the cost, since I need a slider. I have the Colibert Rail Rider, which is a manual slider that fits in the B&W. It's a good, solid, manual slider, but it is a PITA for me to remove. If I had it to do over, I'd get some type of cool auto-slider...mine stays in my bed most of the time anyway.
