I am a car guy.
Had 3 Carreras and have a Benz now.
For my trailer:
I use the 10" wide brush on the 7 foot pole.
Garden Hose rinse.
Depending on how dirty it is I use Palmolive dishwash liquid in HOT water. Sometimes the Meguiars car wash depending on how much I have around.
I have had this trailer the longest , about 11 years.
I have never wiped the body dry or waxed it past the second year. I just towel dry the windows.
I do wash it very frequently , at least once for each outing.
I have zero leaks.
It still looks brand new.
But I keep it completely under cover out of the sun, rain, and snow in a storage yard in a shed that is open to the north.
I repeat it still looks brand new.
OTH , I very frequently wash and wax the Benz and Duramax.

Hi, I use a soft wash mitt and/or a very soft wash brush on an expandable pole. I use Meguires cars wash and tap water. My trailer is over seven years old and has never been waxed. I wash it before and after each trip and just hose it off in between trips. My trailer sits outside all of the time and I live about 8.5 miles from the ocean. Yes, it is a different type trailer, but the guys on the other forums can't believe it either.

I wash our trailer with a car wash mix, the garden hose and soft brush after every trip. Wax it once a year with Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax #845.

It is stored inside, so want it clean before it goes in.

Lots of wax on the front really helps to get bugs off.

You said you were worried about being sore...
I use a soft brush with extended handle, Bucket of soap & water and water hose.
I use easy brushing.
No hard pressure on brush. After rinse, I may need to go back and wash again. As said, no hard brushing. Let the soap and brush do the work. Be easy on yourself.
I also, use slow (not slow motion), easy movements with my arms. I don't rush and jerk my arms around while using the brush. Be easy on yourself.
Also, if in the sun or heat, rinse often. Don't let the soap dry on RV.
Mother Nature does the drying for me.
Be very careful, if you are getting on the roof!!.....

I also have used Collinite #845 wax for years on every vehicle, RV I have owned.www.collinite.com
My current 39'MH I wash and wax twice a year by hand and wash with a hose and RV brush that extends. I use Trailer Glitter made by Camco for washing, it is a concentrate and is the best I have found. I can wax my MH, and several of my cars with a 1 pt. bottle of wax, as you do not have to use a lot to provide good protection and appearance.

Robert;
Nice looking TT. However, I would loved to have sitting in a chair across the street with a cold drink in hand the first time you backed into your parking spot.

I'm not a fan of Dawn (or any detergent). It cuts grease and basically is a wax stripper.
