And if you do need a little drain cleaning action......dump some baking soda down into drain then pour some white vinegar in. After the bubbling action subsides follow it with very hot water. Cheap, simple and won't harm anything.

What I do both at home and in the camper is to periodically flush the drains with a garden hose with a spray nozzle on the end. It helps push the stuff out of the P-traps that tends to accumulate there, especially under "low water usage" situations. At home, I hook the garden hose up to the drain valve on the water heater, which helps clean the drain out and flushes the WH tank out as well.

Not the liquid.

I would use the geo method for routine cleaning.

Try this one...

If you want to get your black water tank clean, the easiest and fastest way, here is what you do.

Buy three bags of ice cubes. Fill the tank half full of water and dump the ice cubes down the toilet into the tank. Drive your rig until the ice cubes melt. When you dump the tank the ice cubes will have scoured all the hard deposits from the tank and they will flush out down the drain.

Me to. I put some Pine Sol down periodically.

I just purchased a new 5er this past Nov. My manual specifically states NOT to use Draino or any product like it.

If you have pyramid issues you can always buy a quart bottle of septic tank cleaner - put in the contents - top off the tank with water - and come back in a 4 days or so and empty the tank - tank should be clean including the sensors.
