I have had good luck with Carlisles towing thousands of miles a year for nine years of retirement on all kinds of trailers. Since they are the most common, they have the most reported failures. Surprise, surprise.

Had 2 year old Carlisle tires on our 12 year old Mobile Scout in November,2011. 3 of 4 tires blew out on a trip in November - the tread separating from the tire as we were driving. This totalled our beloved Mobile Scout, damaging water lines and tanks, and the underside of the trailer. Expensive and scary experience. Our new Zinger does not have Carlisle tires.

I had 2 sets of Carlisles on my old TT and never an issue. All 5 that came with my new TT failed. Never under inflated and no where near capacity, 2 blew out at 45-50 MPH speeds and 3 suffered slipped belts - 1 of those while simply laying in the back of my truck. With all the stories of failures, you would have to be very naive to think these are good tires.

Carlisle makes a great ATV tire. But when it comes to R/V tires there junk.I also replaced mine on my TT and all had seperated belts.I would also like too see that sticker that says made in the USA.If you will do a search on them you will be surprised.

Carlisle makes many grades of tires. Many RV companies are notorious for buying the cheapest tires they can buy for OEM tires often using the cheapest Carlisle's they can get. The result is Carlisle often gets the blame for the trailer manufacturers overloading cheap tires.

I have owned properly loaded and properly graded Carlisle tires and pulled them thousands of miles with no issues. I have also owned overloaded OEM Carlisle tires that came with the trailer and had blowouts.
