Since I posted this thread, I wanted to be the first to post. LOL.
Hey, does anyone want to do a fall outing at Maumee Bay in 2013? How about a weekend in mid September? That way the weather will be warmer. Any ideas?

Just a suggestion but what if we start posting ideas of where to go or doing something completely different like exploring Kentucky, Tennessee, or ???? Maybe someone volunteering the open vacation format that Dan used when many visited the UP of MI and out west.
I don't really have any ideas to get out of the box with but I do plan to go back to Anne Osborn and watch freighters float by sometime in July August or Last weekend in July at the Coast Guard festival in Grand Haven, MI.

Good ideas Randy. After I posted the idea of Maumee Bay, I thought it may be nice to try someplace different. Like maybe Deleware SP, or another park that may be close to Wright Part. Never been to Mammoth Cave so that could be a good trip. What say you all?

We have never been to Mammoth Cave so that is a possibility.
Bonnie,
I will let you know as I have my eye on mid July and am thinking about taking a entire week. I want to talk to the campground and find a time away from engineers weekend so a higher chance of the river front sites.

We were thinking of a trip to Florida for some fishing and then take a Cruise while down there. Unfortunately, none of the cruise lines allow pets! 
So we're back to the drawing board, I guess....
