Hello. My new coach doesn't come generator equipped. I am looking to find a 'quiet' generator capable of 3000 watts. We are trying to conserve a little money so the Honda's are out. I stumbled across an
All Power 3500w Digital Generator Model# APG3106. It's 3000 watts rated at 58db, below the 60db limit most campgrounds require.
It seems relatively new as I cannot find one review in cyberland. Has anyone had any experience with this particular model or even the manufacturer?

Well if that is supposed to mean get a Yamaha? Cost again is the factor which is why I was asking about the specific product in my OP. I am working with no more than a $1500 budget.

Apparently the 3106 is a slightly changed version of the previous model, the 3105.
If you Google that model number you'll see some reviews of the previous model, if that's any help to you.
Here's one: customer review of APG 3105
Hope this helps...

Skimping on something like a generator is penny wise and pound foolish IMHO. Most of the cheap knock offs are way louder than a Honda or Yamaha, are not capable of being connected in parallel and are generally of inferior materials that simply do not hold up for the long term. Buy a 2KW Honda and then twin it and a parallel cable and you will have the versatility you desire and still be light enough to be easily handled.

Your $1500 will easily get you a couple of these and a parallel kit. I have one of them and it's very quiet compared to the full throttle 3000W units out there.
Two of these will easily run your AC and on cooler outings you only need one.
Easier to lift too!

If you can't afford a Honda or Yamaha, the $300 Champion from Camping World (and other outlets) is a very good second choice. We used to have one. Not as quiet as a Honda but close and did very well. Its rated at 4000 watts peak power and 3500 watts continuous I believe.
