Please please read the rules covering duplicate posts.
It sounds to me like a lot of miles in a really short period of time.

I thought that every one could help me.

Way too many miles, not enough time to see stuff on the way, or have any flexibility.

We have done "whirlwind" tours like this with no problems. If you get up early in the morning and stop early in the day you will have time for a bit of sightseeing that afternoon. I would suggest that you stay 2 nights at the locations where you want to see major tourist attractions like Fort Worth Stockyards, Grand Canyon, etc. That way you can arrive, rest overnight, go sightseeing the next day, sleep another night and head out very early the next morning. I would eliminate some stops that are not as important to you and focus on those that are high on your list. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for your suggestions.
It will be the Fifth time we come in US, and generally we travel like this many miles to see many think, a road trip.
We love the landscapes, not so much big city. When we don't know a city, we prefer just pass and don't stay, and if we like it, may be for a next trip we will stay longer.
For us, even if we were on hollyday, we get up early, and stop quite late on the evening, big days but we love it to go back at home tired but with so many remembrances of your fantastic country.

Where could I buy the apparel for camping (tent) between Atlanta and Pensacola?

First, welcome to the USA. Glad to have you visiting with us.

Your best bet to pick up quality camping gear with a single stop is probably a REI store. There are several in the general area of Atlanta http://www.rei.com/map/store

Campground recommenation: Palo Duro State Park outside Amarillo.

I don't think Carlsbad Caverns NP is too far off your route and would suggest it if you've never been. Stay at the Dog Canyon campground in Guadalupe Mountain NP if you like out of the way spots. Its about forty miles from the Caverns.

Big Bend NP would be another recommendation but don't go if you can't spend at least three days in that area. The South Rim Trail is a must.

Hope you enloy your visit and please post back with your experiences.
