Where does one go to find a new gasket and studs for the first flange off the exhaust header on a 2007 Winnebago 8.1 Workhorse.?
Been to Napa but they could not help. We are in the Tampa Fl. area. Thanks for any and all comments

Find a NAPA Truck Service Center. But really the store should have been able to help you. Probably the clerk could not use the computer and was clueless about auto parts. Good help is hard to find and harder to train.

Maybe look for muffler and exhaust shops in your area.

We have a Country Coach and have used Fountain RV in Lakeland FL for some repairs and are pleased with their service and pricing. Ask for Butch Williams. He might be able to tell you where to get the part or order it for you.

LazyDays RV in Dover FL also has a parts dept. I would not recommend their service however.

I believe that it is just the standard exhaust donut that has been used on GM V-8's for years. Since you are asking about the studs, I assume that you have twisted them off, or feel that you will twist them off. Normally a good penetrating oil will loosen them after a day or so.

A good service center, that you can trust, is PMS truck and RV service center in Clearwater, FL. Phone 727/573-7774, ask for Doug

The gasket is the same as a 454. Thorley used to have a really good rubberized gasket that would last forever. Not sure if they still carry it. When I swapped engines, I re-used the old gasket, and it still does not leak.
