The morning paper sports section had an add from Freedom RV for a new 35' fiver that "Sleeps 12 comfortably". I won't mention the brand but are these folks insane? Even if it is true I'm think it might not be hell but you would be close enough to see it from there. This rig has one bathroom, the dinette will seat 4 and there is an outdoor kitchen but can you imagine bedding down 12 bodies?

Not sure what your TV would need to be as there aren't all that many 12 passenger trucks or SUV's out there. The extra body fee's that so many CG's like to charge sure will add up. The add cracked me up so I just had to share.

It would be difficult to think of a need to sleep 12 in one RV!

Yes feeding time would also be difficult too, so would be showers, even though some RV's have two toilets now days. Water capacity for 12 would also be a problem. Though some limo's built on the F-350 dually might be able to carry 12 passengers, it's 35' length and the trailer would exceed most state limits for overall length by a few feet. Probably would need to pay a extra vehicle fee and bring a minivan with all the kids.

Also the weight of the kids and their stuff could be a problem.

Sounds as if the add said "sleeps". The sleeping is not the problem. The problem starts when those dozen folks wake up. WOW!, not for me.

If anyone pulls in next to us with a rig that has 12 people in it...sleeping or not, we are moving.

In Missouri State Parks you can't have that many people on one site unless they are of one family unit. That means Mom, Dad, and kids. Aunts/Uncles/Grand parents don't count and must move to another site.

Occupant Capacity

The maximum number of people using a designated campsite is six (including children). When a number of persons wishing to occupy a single campsite exceeds six, the group shall be defined as indivisible or divisible.

Indivisible -
a group of persons, campers, tents and vehicles that cannot be reasonably divided to occupy more than one campsite. Examples: Parent(s) or guardian(s) with minor children or dependents; or a single motor home or trailer with its occupants. An indivisible group of more than six people may occupy a single site.
Divisible -
a group of persons, campers, tents and vehicles that can be reasonably divided to occupy more than one campsite. A divisible group may not occupy a single site.

Why not mention the brand, people do it all the time. We can make up our own minds then...

Wow we feel crowded with three adults and two small dogs in our 33' 5er, I can't imagine 9 more people in the same space.
It must have many slides and bunks.
