As a proud Army Veteran I fly the US flag 90% of the time when we are out in our MH. I have found a solar powered LED light made to mount on a flag pole that will shine UP in the air to keep it lit at night. Do you think it would bother others who camp beside us? We camp where we have neighbors within 20 feet lots of times. Will the LIGHT POLICE get me? Or do I tell them to pound sand?

Tell 'em pound sand. Law is to light our flag, or take it down at sundown.
Any who object to that are not worthy to call themselves citizens
Thank you for your service.

If I'm camped that close, yeah, it's just like a scare light, regardless of the better motive.
I'm for you taking the flag down at night.
I know, flamers will soon be upon me.
Oh: Thank you for your service to our nation.

I don't think a solar LED light pointed up is going to flood the area with light. But if it does appear to be too much, then just take the flag down at night if the sites are too close together.
Although telling them to pound sand is tempting, I am also always considerate of others around me as I would want them to be of me.

Proud to be AMERICAN!!!! And thank you for serving....tell them to pound sand!!! A light pointing up to our grand flag shouldn't bother anyone!!

Why not give it a try and then wonder over to your neighbors rig and ask them if what you are doing is bothering them...probably not..win/win for everyone.
