JMHO. Looked more like a home show than an RV show. About 25% RV things. Lots of people. Beautiful weather in Quartzsite. For those that haven't been here & can't find an available RV park they have a dump station on 95 just north of the 10
freeway, east side of highway called RV pitstop. Dump & fresh water. Very reasonable price & friendly people running it. We're at mile post 99. Lots of friendly people camping here.

Your right of course. But I can't believe the way I could walk thru the tent this morning side by side with my wife. Years past, it was a struggle to move in tiny tiny steps thru the tent. I'm thinking it was half the number this year from previous years. Even the BLM is lacking the numbers from previous years.

There is so much more going on around town that the tent is becoming insignificant. Allot of those vendors that used to be in the tent, are now scattered elsewhere around town because they;ll get kicked out in 7 days for other events. So why be there in the 1st place. We actually have more fun at the swap meet across the street, and Tyson Wells.
There's LOTS of dry camping out here in the desert

WELL
The "tent" is alive and well with over 900 plus vendors. (I'm a vendor) This is our 4th year in the tent and the crouds today were massive.
As my wife walked around, she saw more new offerings than we have seen in the last 3 years.......all RV oriented.
Check it our for yourself, you'll be amazed.

Your telling me that there are 900 vendors in the Tent? Maybe 150 vendors) I fear your quoting some of the Chamber of Commerce propaganda.
Same ole same ole in the tent as vendors go....way too much foo foo stuff that has nothing to do with RVs other than RVers (most) do wear clothes but aren't know for being very sharp dressers
Of course jewelry, and massage/exercise booths. Have to admit, we went back today to check on a particular product and the addition of the booths with vibrating machines don't really present a pretty picture with 250lbs of overweight potential customers standing on something that shakes a lot of stuff that shouldn't be shook
But there is something that does bring us and thousands more like us back year after year after year. I guess its tradition.
O the helicopters????? I fly RC aircraft and the poor suckers who buy a hundred dollar helicopter that they think it looks so easy to fly only to crash it on the first takeoff and find that there isn't any place to buy parts for???? Thats sad....really sad. I wish the copter buyers would just go to a reputable hobby shop and buy something that will fly with some basic lessons and parts are available. Sorry to get off track.

I'd be shocked if the tent, Tyson, and the swap across the street come close to 900.
Then there's the helicopters....

You either like Q or you don't. We love the camping with all of our friends on the BLM and walking around the tent and all the other places. Just never know what you can't live without Oh and we have lots of helicopters and planes and even bought a few over the years here and we make sure we can buy parts for them. Most are the same you can buy at a Hobby store and if so your good to go. Have fun and enjoy if your here, we sure are.

People were 4 deep buying LEDs for 4 times the price on E-bay. I bought a dog hair roller for 4 times of what it was worth. Just caught me at a weak moment. Fun anyway around the campfire
