We are going to be at a family reunion this summer and we have to come up with Hawaiian theme decorations for our camper and site. I am REALLY in need of some ideas of things we can do to brighten up our site and our camper. Tiki torches and tablecloths are already in the mix so let's get creative people!!!

Thanks for the help!

How about a grass "skirt " around the TT? You can get them fairly cheaply at Oriental Trading and use tape or get a few table cloth skirts from them.

Check out the rest of their "luau " themed items. Hot glue flowers to some rope lighting around the awning.

As others have mentioned, Oriental Trading. Be prepared for sensory overload.

How fun! This is an easy one!

Can't forget your grass skirts and leis. You can dress up tables with grass skirting too, purchased at a party supply store. Heck, why not add a row onto your awning for a camper-hut look. Don't forget tropical awning lights. They're available everywhere. Amazon is a good source for a lot of this stuff.

And while you're at it, you can't have a Hawaiian theme without flamingos. I'm sure you can find garden stakes or fun blowup flamingos. Palm trees too.

What's a luau without music? Good use of your outdoor speakers to complete the theme.

Color is key. Lots of it. Dinnerware, cocktail glasses, sunglasses, can coolers. Try OrientalTrading.com for endless options.

One more thing. Set out some coconut candles. Now you have all your senses covered! Good luck & aloha!

There is a gal with a T@B Travel Trailer who is always decorating her trailer! I just cannot think of her name right now!

Thanks for all the responses everyone! I went to Oriental Trading and had a mild seizure but I'll be ok LOL. LOVE the ideas about skirting the entire trailer and making a hut feel with the awning. Since this is a new trailer for us, I completely forgot about the outdoor speakers for the hawaiian music.

Have a great day everyone, time for more seizures at oriental trading.

The dollar stores often have stuff that will work for that theme.

Remember to take pictures and post them so we can see the final outcome.

Have fun!

jumbo suction cups are great for attaching stuff to the trailer, I use them for a patriotic bunting for July 4.
Oriental Trading at one time had a inflatable palm tree, great to leave outside regardless of the weather. How about a tiki bar. you could set your site up as a tiki bar theme area.
