Am I in the minority here? We have a lovely park trailer that we use almost every weekend in the summer. It has all the luxuries and bells and whistles...but I enjoy just pitching a tent and roughing it a little.. every now and then. There is something about sleeping in a tent that is so relaxing and refreshing. I feel like I am truly experiencing the outdoors. My husband thinks I'm nuts. Anyone else out there that likes tents too and Rv's?

We all have a different threshold for pain.
The older we got, the higher off the ground we got. Sorry, I with G-pa.

I understand how you love it.....I used to also, but now that I've aged, and my bones aren't as forgiving, I have to vote for the RV.
Tent camping is sorta like childbirth, it's really for the young! Sure, some older folks will do it, but they are taking a chance when they do

If they can get a king size bed or a queen at minimum, air conditioning or heat which ever is called for. Also a TV and plumbing facilities in the tent I'm on board!

Did you forget the HDTV, satellite dish, laptop/desktop computer, power for electric blanket-electric skillet-rice cooker-crock pot, frig & freezer, private shower & toilet, etc.
