Leaving for our first trip of the year this weekend. I'm tired of being cooped up inside as I hate the cold! Besides once I get that first trip of the year the weather seems to get warmer. Maybe it's just me.
Anyway, Headed to Chicot State Park. Looking forward to a great weekend. Weather is supposed to be nice.

I am jealous. We still have 3 ft of snow here in Ontario. Hoping maybe early May I can get the coach out.

I'm with you on tired of being inside. The camp grounds in KY open at the end of March so we're really getting anxious.

Just looking at some pictures from last year, we were camping in our shorts on March 16! I think it was plus 20c something, not going to happen this year

Was hoping to get things ready for the season this weekend but we got 10" of snow Tuesday night, Wednesday morning, so that idea is out the window. The "resort" we normally stay at has a Easter Egg Hunt scheduled the Saturday before Easter and was hoping to make a long weekend out of things but don't know if weather will give us a break this year. Itching to go. Think I was ready the day we winterized the camper.

Curious ,how cold does louisiana get? Im sick of winter also,hoping one of these years to go south for winter.

We quite likely just had our last significant rain for the season. I must have gotten nearly a quarter inch. Any rain between now and Halloween will likely be drizzles.
Temperatures are low 50's now but headed to the low 70's in a day or two.
I think Spring has sprung. My fruit trees are in full bloom.
It is still cold enough that if I go outside during the day I wear a vest with my short sleeve shirt.
MH is in the shop for warranty work.

It is snowing today on Long Island. My countdown widget on my cellphone tells me I only have 49 days left until our favorite campground opens back up for the 2013 season.

This winter we only had frost on the windshield one time last week. Usually we get one hard freeze(low 30's). I think it only snowed here three times in my lifespan.
Anyway, just got back from a great weekend at Chicot State Park. I was great getting outside and spending time with the kids. Would have been a perfect weekend except for the 20mph cross winds on the drive home.
