Just wondering how many campers wax their units and how often? What kind of wax do you use? We just bought a new toy hauler and are lucky that we can store it inside in a heated shed, so this winter I have been trying to get it waxed!

two trailers, had the first one for four years, the current one is going on 8 years. never waxed either of them...
I did clean them after every use inside and out..
On the outside I use an RV wash from a place in Holland MI of which I have have no idea it's chemical make up. TT looks like new...

I wax once a year with 3M cleaner wax. Same stuff I use on my boats.
For decals, I use the 303 protectant.

I just do it once a year with Mothers car wax. I have a couple of people from work that use Mop-n-glo and they love how it looks and how easy it is. I tried it last year on a little section and it seemed to leave streak marks on the graphics. It might have been because of the wax underneath though.

Our Class C is almost 9 yrs old and I keep it in a garage. I wax the cab a couple of times a year and have only waxed the "house" part once in all this time. Becuase it's always been kept inside, it looks like new.

I had had a trailer and now a Class A and I wax a minimum of twice per year. I use Wash and Wax All. It is so easy and fast to use, it is no big deal to keep the RV waxed.

We use 303 Protectant and either Mothers or McQuires wax twice a year. Be careful to use a wax that doesn't dry white around decals as it can be a pain to get the white residue off the decal edge. A UV protectant like 303 will keep your decals looking good for years which, in turn, keeps your RV looking new. Has a bearing on resale value!

I wax mine every year and it still looks like new - including the graphics.
Wax doesn't hurt graphics, UV does.
